Is wonderlandwigs.co.uk's internet connection secure?

• All credit card numbers are encrypted from the moment they leave your computer until they're received by the bank for authorisation/payment.

• All customers using our secure payment facility (including Safari/Mac OS X users) are protected by 128 bit encryption as required by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) standard.

• Your payment and order details are normally sent to us across a secure connection that uses a 128 bit certificate. This means that the information is encrypted and cannot be read by anyone other than ourselves.

• You can see that the pages are secure because the address in the address bar changes from being http:// to https://. You will also see a padlock symbol or key in the bottom bar of your browser (In IE 7.0 Microsoft have moved this padlock to the top right corner just at the end of the address bar). This certificate helps to prove we are who we say we were, so customers accessing our site can have confidence that we are providing a legitimate service.

• We have also voluntarily signed up to '3D secure' card authentication scheme for all card transactions made via our website. 3D Secure can be thought of as an online version of 'Chip and Pin' technology, whereby the cardholder has a personalised password registered with their card that is entered during the checkout process. This is known as 'verified by visa' or mastercard securecode' and makes buying from our website even safer.

What types of payment do Wonderland Wigs accept?

We accept all major debit and credit cards (except American Express), you can also pay via paypal, or buy from our ebay or Amazon shops if you wish, although be aware that not all stock is listed there.
